Probably not the exit they were looking for…. Moconews has some good detail on what exactly got bought.
I liked this post from Diane Mermigas at Mediapost that explains why Amazon has many advantages in the cloud/content war. Naturally, it begins with an existing billing relationship with the customer.
We were lucky to have one of our newer clients in NYC this week (from Paris) for a NY agency roadshow.
Vittorio Strigari, Awdio’s CEO, shared his vision for Awdio and brand partnerships with a select group of NYC agencies and brands. Awdio has an uber-cool platform for brands that want to align with music and nightlife from all around the world.
Many thanks to all we met with this week… Some great agencies working with some of the coolest global brands….. (sorry, not going say who). We loved the great enthusiasm and creative ideas on how to partner. Here’s a photo Vittorio snapped of the Breakpoint Partners en route to one of those meetings. We decided not to shoot some of Vittorio…Just keeping it mysterious. Did you miss out on meeting with Awdio? Their new site goes live any minute….Check it out here and drop us a line.
Looks like News Corp is will have to make a major course correction to get myspace back on track. Perhaps they can sell it to Bebo’s new owners. What happened to myspace? Where did they go wrong? Let us know what you think! Here’s the story on PaidContent.
